Sure Guernsey customers will not incur roaming charges when using their phones in the Isle of Man.
Flights between Guernsey and the Isle of Man start on Wednesday 22 July and almost 4,000 seats have been booked since the announcement of an airbridge between the two jurisdictions.
Sure’s multiple networks means islanders travelling to the Isle of Man are exempt from roaming charges, providing they are customers of the telecoms provider.
‘We’re the only telecoms provider operating in both Guernsey and the Isle of Man and I’d like to remind our customers that we’re able to offer the opportunity to use the Sure network in both islands with no roaming charges while enjoying the air bridge,’ said Charlotte Dunsterville, Chief Consumer Officer at Sure.
‘Lockdown has been an experience unlike any other and I hope many islanders will take advantage of the island partnership to enjoy the Isle of Man and our 4G+ coverage on the island.’
