Nexus Technology has appointed Malcolm Scott as a Director and Senior Consultant to help develop the business and lead client projects.

Malcolm has over 25 years’ experience in Government and Technology, working in roles that have seen him lead and execute major enterprise application and integration projects.

A specialist in Knowledge Management, Collaboration and Workflow across Microsoft SharePoint and Office 365, Malcolm understands the challenges around collaboration and integration across platforms and helps clients get the most from their investment in technology.

Malcolm said: “Nexus Technology is at an exciting stage of its growth and I’m looking forward to working with Gary and Dave to develop the business, while also being able to be hands-on leading the teams of consultants working on projects that are transforming businesses in the Island.”

During his career, Malcolm has worked in many senior technical and management roles and most recently as a Director of Professional Services, leading teams of consultants to deliver Cloud, Data, Development and Application projects across government, legal, financial and regulatory organisations.

Before moving to Jersey, Malcolm worked with the Ministry of Defence, completing an Electronic Engineering apprenticeship and working on Strategic Weapon System projects.

Gary Stewart, CEO, Nexus Technology, said: “We have been steadily growing the team over the past year and are delighted to bring Malcolm on board. Malcolm has a wealth of experience working on technology projects that will be of huge benefit to our clients. The recent home working requirements have been a stress-test for many systems and a strong reminder how important it is to have the right technology for your business needs. At Nexus Technology we pride ourselves on using the best consultants to create the right IT solutions for the changing needs of our clients.”

Founded in Jersey in 2018, Nexus Technology offers tech-focused solutions such as software development, data analytics, IT development, and project management to clients across finance, banking, retail, and government in the Channel Islands.
