Grand Jersey Hotel & Spa has welcomed a new Manager to the team at Tassili, its Four AA Rosette fine dining restaurant.
Ednor Pronjaj, who was born in Salerno in southern Italy has previously worked in a number of iconic restaurants alongside some of the top names in the business including Marcus Wareing, Juan Mari Arzak, Pierre Koffmann and Gordon Ramsay.
In his new role, Ednor will be working closely with Executive Chef Nicolas Valmagna and the Tassili culinary team to create and develop menus using the very best seasonal and local produce.
Commenting on his new role, Ednor said: “I am very excited to join the Tassili team; working together to push the boundaries of fine dining to create the very best experience in the Island. I want to help maintain Tassili’s ‘wow factor’ therefore consistency and attention to detail is a must. A good restaurant offers good food, but an exceptional restaurant must offer something else!
“I plan to enhance our wine pairings, offering both classic and new prestigious pairings to make the Tassili dining experience really stand out from the rest”.
