Laura Morel has launched The Impact Studio, a consultancy bringing together marketing, business development and relationship building to help organisations achieve their commercial goals.
The consultancy will focus on helping businesses align their communications with their wider objectives, including collaboration, community engagement and relationship building.
With a background spanning PR, communications, marketing and business development, Laura (pictured) has built a varied network across different sectors of island life, gaining a broad perspective on the opportunities and challenges facing local organisations.
Laura said: “We are all trying to do more with less and we need to move beyond operating in silos and look at how our individual contributions can create a greater positive impact together. By collaborating and sharing best practice, we can build on one another’s strengths and contribute more to the islands we live and work in.”
She added: “Whilst strong marketing still matters, the opportunity now goes beyond what an organisation says about itself. It is about how it engages its people, works with partners and creates relationships that can become trusted advocates. The Impact Studio brings those elements together, connecting campaigns and messaging with the people who can help turn them into action.
“In the Channel Islands, personal recommendations and human connections are invaluable. I see the true value of future marketing in creating more human touchpoints, building communities that organisations can nurture directly, and making storytelling feel personal and purposeful. It is about more than reaching an audience, it is about giving people a reason to connect, participate and recommend you.”
