Laura Ashley, the quintessentially English lifestyle brand founded on rich design heritage and traditional values of quality and originality will be the next new store to open in the Waterfront’s Liberty Wharf complex. SandpiperCI recently acquired the franchise as part of its plans to enhance Liberty Wharf’s retail mix of quality stores and continue its growing reputation as one of the Island’s key retail destinations for locals and visitors.
Laura Ashley’s Liberty Wharf store will feature a classical and contemporary home furnishings range, from cabinet and upholstered furniture, cushions, lighting, bed and bath linen,
rugs, mirrors and home accessories to home decorating solutions with a wide selection of wallpapers, fabrics, paint and decorative accessories.
Managing Director, Stephen Forrester said: “The unique elegance of home styling options offered by Laura Ashley has always ensured a firm following in Jersey. Whilst the brand has successfully traded in a remote location for some time, we’re confident of even greater success by offering a wide range of Laura Ashley’s catalogue in our centrally-located Liberty Wharf complex.
“We will also be offering a design service. Our in-house design team will be available to visit clients’ homes and discuss ideas, requirements and thoughts, then use those ideas as a starting point to bring designs together. Using swatches, catalogues and sample books, our team will produce mood boards and detailed estimates to help clients decide how best to upgrade their homes.”
Six additional job roles have been created and the store will trade seven days a week.
(9 till 6 Monday to Saturday, 10 till 5 on Sundays.)
Sandpiper plan to open a similar Laura Ashley store in Guernsey later this year.
