A new jobs portal, called Kiwi, has launched in the Channel Islands to provide new recruitment opportunities for employers and job-seekers in offshore financial centres and the financial and professional services industries.
Based on a search engine format, the platform is designed to help businesses and job-seekers connect more efficiently and streamline the job search process.
The platform is free for employers to post their jobs, and for job-seekers to search and apply for them.
With over 50 employers currently listed and thousands of jobs updated regularly, Kiwi has a wealth of opportunities for job-seekers both in the Channel Islands and further afield. A premium version of the platform has also been launched to further help support local HR professionals as the firm looks to grow and become a central hub for careers and career development.
James Le Gallez (pictured), Founder of Kiwi, said: “The job market in Guernsey and Jersey is incredibly competitive, with a plethora of opportunities and a pool of talented job-seekers, but it’s incredibly expensive to source talent through recruitment agencies.
“I believe businesses in small jurisdictions like Guernsey and Jersey should be able to thrive on word-of-mouth, and the job market should be no different; that’s why I created Kiwi. In addition to matching local job-seekers with on-island employers, I’m hopeful that the platform will also make finding off-island talent easier and attract financial services specialists to both Guernsey and Jersey, plugging the growing gap for professional talent.”
Kiwi offers a simple, user-friendly interface, designed to be fast, efficient, and accessible. Job-seekers can search for jobs, create a profile, and apply for jobs all in one place. With the launch of the premium version, Kiwi will continue to evolve to meet the needs of both employers and job-seekers.
