New Japanese restaurant opens in Saint Aubin

After running Kyoto Restobar for several years, owner Mihai has decided to embark on a new adventure in Saint Aubin with the opening of Kyoto Prefecture.

The decision to open another location arose when the St Helier spot couldn’t handle the high number of customers. After three months of refurbishment, the new restaurant is now open for business.

Situated at 2 Bank Place, Charing Cross, St Aubin, Kyoto Prefecture offers a warm and relaxing atmosphere, highlighting traditional Japanese dishes paired with local ingredients.

Owner Mihai Epure commented: “We want to bring something unique to Saint Aubin and connect better with our supportive customers from the West side of the Island.

“By combining high-quality Japanese ingredients with local ones, our sushi and Izakaya menu aims to provide value for money. With our skilled staff, we aim to bring a taste of Japan right here in Jersey.”
