Jack Lucas from Offshore Electronics has been promoted to Purchasing Manager.
Jack joined the company as a buyer in October 2018, having had previous experience in a small retail business who specialised in consumer electronic repairs. This valuable background allowed him to learn quickly for a new career in Offshore Electronics’ high tech industry.
Diligence and enthusiasm for understanding the Contract Electronics Manufacturing (CEM) business and its supply chain has served Jack well, as components must be sourced globally in a rapidly changing world.
Challenges are part of the job, and as Purchasing Director Paul van der Tang acknowledges, “Jack has grown to thrive on such challenges within his role, as well as provide valuable support and contributions to the digital marketing team.”
