NatWest International has launched a mortgage with a fixed interest rate of 0.99%, a first for customers in Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man.
The rate is fixed to 30th November 2023 and is available to borrowers with a 40% deposit. A £999 product fee is payable for new purchases, but is waived for customers remortgaging to NatWest International.
Joe Vasey, Head of Retail and Commercial Coverage at NatWest International said: “The past eighteen months has been incredibly tough for customers and we feel that it is really important to help provide some kind of financial certainty for the coming years.
“By providing our lowest ever mortgage rates, we are helping people who are coming to the end of their mortgage deal and are looking to re-mortgage or looking to move to a new home that can help accommodate their needs better – whether it is more space either inside or outside, a home office or simply a location more suited to their lifestyle.”
