Mourant has appointed Helen Wyatt as Managing Partner of its Guernsey office with effect from 1 August 2026.
Helen (pictured) will succeed John Lewis who has held the role since in September 2020 and will step down as his term in the role comes to end. John will continue as a Partner at the firm.
Having first joined Mourant on a work experience placement before returning as a trainee in the legal practice, Helen has built her career at the firm over the last two decades, including a period in the Mourant London office. She subsequently returned to Guernsey, where she became a Partner in the Corporate team in 2016 and has established herself as a trusted adviser to clients across a broad range of complex transactions.
Ranked as a ‘Leading Partner’ in Legal 500, Helen’s work spans a wide range of corporate matters, including M&A, capital raisings and IPOs, investment structures, financings and wider corporate transactions, with a particular focus on financial regulation.
