Mourant has advised on all Guernsey legal aspects of the sale of the Cimandis warehouse on Pitronnerie Road, the largest commercial investment transaction in Guernsey this year.
The prominent site, occupied by major food wholesaler Cimandis, represents one of the island’s key logistics hubs. The property has been sold by Mourant’s client, a Craigard LLP syndicate, with Manor Farm Foods due to take over the premises after a major refurbishment.
The Mourant team was led by John Lewis (pictured), Guernsey Managing Partner, working in close collaboration with commercial property Senior Associates Alison Wood and Laura Bougourd.
Rock Commercial acted as property adviser on the deal, with Ferbrache & Farrell representing the purchaser.
Commenting on the transaction, John said: “We were pleased to have played our part in the successful conclusion of this significant sale. The transaction marks one of the most substantial commercial property deals in Guernsey this year and highlights ongoing investor confidence in the island’s logistics and industrial sectors.”
