Moore Stephens Channel Islands has launched MFMS Channel Islands, a dedicated identity for its private client, corporate and family office services business in Guernsey and Jersey.
The name MFMS is derived from Moore Family and Moore Stephens, reflecting the group’s Moore family ownership and its Moore Stephens heritage.
The move follows the wider branding of the MFMS Group, an international group of Moore family firms operating across 10 jurisdictions, with more than 400 employees across its services. The collaboration is intended to make the skills and services of each office more visible to clients with cross-border needs and within the Moore Global network.
Under the new structure, MFMS Channel Islands will focus on fiduciary, trust and corporate services for private clients, family offices, institutions and internationally connected structures. The audit, accounting and tax business will continue to operate as Moore Stephens Channel Islands.
The new identity is a branding and positioning development rather than a change in ownership or control. The shareholders, management and Channel Islands boards remain unchanged.
The development follows the growth of the Channel Islands business and the wider MFMS Group, while retaining the local relationships and independence that have shaped the firm’s work in Guernsey and Jersey for more than 50 years.
MFMS Channel Islands will form part of a group of more than 120 employees across Guernsey, Jersey, Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, London and Monaco.
Sam Bird (pictured), CEO of MFMS Channel Islands Group, said: “This new identity allows us to communicate more clearly what we do within each brand and the experience our Channel Islands teams bring to that work.
“For clients and advisers, the people, ownership and commitment to service remain the same. What changes is the way we present our fiduciary and private wealth services to the market.”
