Barclays in Jersey is taking part in the National Customer Service Week (NCSW) through several events. NCSW is a week-long opportunity to raise awareness of the vital role that customer service plays in successful business practice and the growth of the economy.
This year’s theme is insight, agility, skills, development and recognition. Several activities organised by Barclays will take place throughout the week for clients and customers and a cyber security presentation and a talk on how virtual and augmented reality is changing the face of customer service will be hosted in the Eagle Lab for clients.
“National Customer Services Week is a key time in our calendar and each year we get involved locally. It’s a great opportunity for us to strengthen our relationships with our clients and share our different areas of expertise with each other,” said head of offshore and local corporates for Barclays in Jersey, Neil McCluskey.
“This year we have a real mix of events tailored to our clients, customers and the community and we’re looking forward to supporting the people who do their banking with us in this way.”
The branch in St. Helier hosted an open-day on Monday, and handed out information regarding different types of children’s accounts on offer, different fixed deposit terms and mortgage rates. There was also be a stand to find out more about the services Barclays has to offer and how the bank can support them financially.
On Wednesday, 3 October (1-3 pm) and also in branch, Barclays will host a ‘Digital Drop-In’. At this free event, digital experts will offer digital support on anything from their Barclays Mobile Banking (BMB) app to using features such as FaceTime.
