Marsden Building Society has achieved a lending milestone of £50million in Guernsey.

Working in partnership with SPF Private Clients, the Society has completed mortgages totalling over £50million since launching on the island in 2018.

Rob Pheasey, Chief Executive, Marsden Building Society said: “We’re incredibly proud to announce this significant £50million milestone. This is a testament to our commitment to providing accessible and varied mortgage products to our Guernsey residents. We understand the significance of homeownership and the sense of security it brings to families. By working closely with the SPF team, we’re able to help the island’s homeowners secure the most suitable mortgage products for their needs. We look forward to continuing this partnership and celebrating the next milestone.”

Pierre Blampied, Managing Director at SPF Private Clients, added: “Due to market size, Guernsey does not have specialist lenders like those available onshore and so we must continue to look at new products, which are badly needed here. Marsden Building Society have brought an extremely important offering to Guernsey as they provide mortgages which no other mainstream lender does locally. It is a pleasure to work with Rob and his team and we are looking forward to reaching the next milestone together.”
