EY has appointed Sean Ward as a restructuring Manager within their Transaction Advisory Services team in the Channel Islands.
Sean, who is based in Guernsey, has more than 13 years’ restructuring and insolvency experience, spending time in both London and the BVI before moving to the Channel Islands.
In his new role, Sean’s focus will be on managing the team that delivers solvent and insolvent restructurings through formal processes (such as liquidations and administrations) and advise clients through corporate, board, regulatory and creditor side advisory engagements.
His appointment will further strengthen EY’s Restructuring practice within the Channel Islands.
Stuart Gardner, Restructuring Director at EY in the Channel Islands said: “I am delighted that Sean has joined our team in the Channel Islands. EY has been helping organisations deal with disruptive challenges for over 40 years. Whether our clients are corporate service providers, companies, funds, investors, governments, regulators, NEDs or financial stakeholders, we work closely alongside them to deliver the financial and organisational outcomes that enable them to adapt and succeed. Sean’s manner, qualifications and on and off-shore restructuring experience with boards, funds, corporates and trusts made him the ideal candidate to join our team, as we continue on our ambition to be known as the market leading Restructuring practice in the Channel Islands”.
