LV Care Group has announcde sponsorship of a project for young carers being supported by Jersey Support Youth Charitable Trust (JSY).
My Time 4 Young Carers is an initiative that has been developed in partnership between Jersey Youth Service & JSY. It provides somewhere to meet along with support, help and advice for young carers under the age of 18.
LV Care Group have agreed to provide the finances to support a number of planned activities, including a Summer programme, day trips, educational sessions and art and cooking activities.

Our business of providing care in Jersey means that we fully understand the pressures that young carers can face and how important it is for them to be given time to relax, seek advice and receive support. As well as providing financial support for these great activities, we also hope to work with JSY to utilise LV Care’s expertise to provide additional information, support and training where appropriate.”

“The generosity and support from companies such as LV Care Group is invaluable to JSY and we are really pleased that My Time 4 Young carers is now going to be able to run a full programme of activities. Jersey’s young carers assume a level of responsibility which would normally be associated with an adult, dealing with family members who may be disabled, have a chronic illness or mental health problems. Having a time and a place to learn, relax, talk and be heard is essential to help give young carers greater confidence and, hopefully, supply the tools to be able deal with the stress that can often develop.”
