The Confident CEO Podcast, hosted locally by Verity Sangan, has reached number 51 in the Apple Podcast UK Entrepreneurship charts, and number 24 in the Apple Podcast Irish Entrepreneurship charts.
Founded by Verity Sangan (pictured) in 2022, The Confident CEO Podcast is for ambitious women who want to create a successful business that impacts their lives in a positive way each and every day.
The podcast takes listeners behind the scenes of creating, building and scaling an online business. It focuses on the business topics that matter; demystifying the seemingly complex, and giving actionable tips for small business owners.
The podcast is hosted and run locally in Jersey, and features interviews with CEOs and entrepreneurs worldwide covering various topics such as business growth, marketing, sales, mind-set and more. Notable past guests have included: Matt Barnett, CEO of Bonjoro App; international lawyer, Amira Irfan; Drew Dillon, CEO of Burb.co; Melissa Guller, CEO of Wit & Wire; and certified Canva Expert Brenda Cadman (there are only 20 certified Canva Experts globally).
Verity said: “I’m so excited and overwhelmed by the support for the show and its global reach. The podcast started as something to do during maternity leave as after starting my own business. I struggled to find information that was practical and actionable for small business owners. The information available seemed either to be too basic, outdated, or was being made complicated for the sake of it, so I created a list of business topics and set about finding guest experts who could break down the topics and give small business owners actionable advice that they could easily implement.
“It’s crazy to think how the show has gathered momentum and now has so many people are listening in. The podcast is recorded in my home office and we’ve been fortunate with the amazing guests that have featured in 2022, and are booked to guest in 2023.”
New episodes are released each week, to an audience of which 47% are in the UK, 45% are in North America, and 5% are from South America, Australia, Asia, and Africa combined. The Podcast has previously charted in the top 250 of various Apple Podcast charts in the UK, South Africa, Sweden, Latvia, and Switzerland.
