David Pirouet is the latest Trustee to join the Board of the Lloyds Bank Foundation Channel Islands (LBFCI).
Having previously worked at PwC, David (pictured) brings a wealth of financial experience and has been appointed with a view to chairing the Audit and Investment Committee when the current Chair retires.
During his 29 years at PwC, David specialised in the financial services sector and led the business’ hedge fund and business recovery practice for more than four years. Currently, David holds several non-executive positions across private equity, infrastructure, and corporate debt. Previously, David was an NED and Chair of the Audit and Risk committee for GCP Infrastructure Investments, a FTSE 250 listed company.
On the appointment, Philippa Stahelin, Chair of LBFCI, said: “We’re thrilled to have someone with David’s financial background join our Board. 2023 will be another challenging year for charities, making it even more important for us to have the right people in order to offer the very best support.
“Additionally, David’s experience in the charitable sector will enable him to hit the ground running. He is clearly someone who shares the Foundation’s values, and I look forward to working with him.”
David has been involved with charitable activities in Jersey for over 40 years, most recently as a member of the Rotary Club of Jersey and its related charities. He currently serves as a Trustee of Community Savings Jersey.
