Following the shocking news of the explosion at Pier Road in the early hours of Saturday morning and of the collision at sea earlier this week, the LV Care Group’s Listening Lounge has extended its opening hours to ensure islanders can access the services they need.
Islanders affected can call 01534 866793 or visit online to access confidential counselling and emotional support services.
Teams of trained counsellors will be available from 8am to midnight to help anyone in need of emotional support or counselling services following the events of this week.
Lucy Nicolaou, Head of LINC Services, LV Care said, “Our thoughts are with all those in our community who have been affected by the tragedies our island has faced this week. Our teams are on hand to ready to support anyone in need.”
The Listening Lounge service is free to access, and all counsellors are fully qualified and registered with the BACP.
