The Ladies’ College has appointed two members of its senior leadership team to new Deputy Principal roles.
Nicola Ingrouille becomes Deputy Principal for Student Well-Being, while Nick Dyson takes on the role of Deputy Principal for Culture, Community and Enrichment.
Nicola’s responsibilities will bring pastoral care, learning support and personal development under one senior leader.
Nicola said: “Preparing girls for the future is about far more than academic results. We want every student to feel known, supported and brave enough to challenge herself, whilst building the resilience and self-awareness she will draw on throughout her life.
“At the heart of this is a deep understanding that every girl is unique. Each has something to offer that nobody else can. When we help her recognise that, we give her more than confidence, we show her she isn’t defined by what’s been done before, but by what she alone can do next.”
Nick’s role covers student leadership, co-curricular activities, careers education and community engagement. He has 16 years of experience in all-girls schools and works on partnerships with local, national and international businesses.
Nick said: “In my 16 years of experience in all-girls schools, there has never been a more important time to develop skills to help our students navigate this rapidly changing world. Our students play and create, analyse and adapt, lead and influence whilst spending time getting to know themselves. I am incredibly proud of our Pathways programme, wider co-curriculum and the way these opportunities are embedded with traditional academic pursuits.
“I’m excited to strengthen opportunities and extend our links with the wider Guernsey community, so every student leaves the College with the curiosity and capability to thrive in whatever comes next.”
Morag Herring, Vice Principal, said: “These two new leadership roles reflect our commitment to ensuring that every student benefits from an exceptional educational experience. We know that academic success, wellbeing, enrichment and community engagement are deeply interconnected, and by strengthening strategic leadership in these areas, we are investing in the whole person.
“These appointments will help us to inspire our girls to become engaged citizens, compassionate leaders and positive contributors to their communities. I am incredibly excited about the impact these roles will have in helping us deliver our vision and supporting every girl to flourish.”
