KPMG in the Channel Islands has announced the promotion of 10 people across Jersey and Guernsey, with 9 of these being manager.

This is a high number of promotions at this level and a testament to the firm’s continued investment in its people and the market demand for locally based, experienced individuals across a wide range of disciplines. The firm invests significantly in training and continuous development and regularly promotes from within.

The 10 people promoted are Graham Hickey, Abbie Hirst, Hannah Layer, Ruben Caldeira, Anna Miller, Ollie Philpott (to Audit Assistant), Chris Northey, Tomás Teixeira Machado, Maisie Woodgate and Michelle Hammond.

Jason Laity, Senior Partner of KPMG in the Channel Islands, says:

“These promotions are, of course, a reflection of the excellent performance of all of the individuals concerned and they also reflect our continued confidence in the economies of both Islands. Promoting mid-year demonstrates that we’re making great progress towards improving the regularity and quality of career development discussions so giving our people the opportunity to work towards their goals with their own career ambitions in mind. We look forward to seeing these talented individuals continue to develop their careers in the firm.”
