Katie Piper OBE, author, inspirational speaker, TV presenter and charity campaigner will be headlining Greenhouse, Jersey’s small business conference.
Katie, together with Jo Fairley and Craig Sams, co-founders of organic, Fairtrade chocolate company Green & Black’s and the Whole Earth Foods, will be headlining this two-day conference designed to support the small business community to level up and thrive this year and beyond.
TV presenter Katie Piper, set up The Katie Piper Foundation in 2009 to help people with burns and scars reconnect with their lives and communities. The charity’s vision is a world where scars do not limit a person’s function, social inclusion, or sense of well-being. The Greenhouse attendees will hear from Katie about building this charity and the work it does.
Jo Fairley set out on her entrepreneurial journey when she co-founded the pioneering organic and Fairtrade chocolate company Green & Black’s, with her husband Craig Sams. Now approaching a £100 million a year brand, Green & Black’s success has enabled Jo to become a serial entrepreneur.
Craig also founded leading organic food company, the Whole Earth Foods with his brother, and has been both the Hon Treasurer and Chairman of the Soil Association and is a Director of Soil Association Certification. He is also Co-Founder and executive chairman of Carbon Gold Ltd. Jo and Craig will be sharing their insights on building environmentally focussed brands.
Greenhouse 2022 will give small businesses, freelancers, side hustlers, entrepreneurs and founders the chance to get their creative juices flowing, innovate, surrounded themselves with likeminded people and take away tactical advice they can implement in their businesses straight away.
Commenting on the headliners, Greenhouse Founder Jacqui Patton said: “After the success of last year it’s great to be back with another line-up of business heavy weights as well as an even better experience for our attendees, including our carbon neutral pledge, added entertainment and a Ramparts art gallery showcasing local artists on site. Greenhouse 2022 is a chance to get the small business community together to grow, learn, connect, and have fun at an event created especially for them!”
In addition to this year’s headliners, Greenhouse is also welcoming four expert speakers from the UK and two panels of local business leaders who will share their hot tips, hacks, insider know-how and inspiring stories with the attendees. See the full line-up of Greenhouse 2022 here.
