JTC Private Office has established a formal partnership with the SDA Bocconi School of Management, to promote greater understanding and insights around legacy-building for wealthy global families.

The partnership, ‘The Family Legacy Monitor’, will see the creation of a thought leadership hub exploring contemporary and relevant topics through research, to help international entrepreneurial families explore, shape and sustain their legacy across generations.

In particular, the JTC Private Office team will work closely with Professor Calabrò to help build and promote the hub’s insights through workshops, events, digital and social media.

Founded in 1971, SDA Bocconi is the School of Management of Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi based in Milan with a campus in Rome. It is dedicated to transforming lives, careers and the future of businesses and organisations. It is one of the few business schools in the world to hold the ‘triple crown’ accreditation from AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA, and it offers a broad range of programmes designed to support responsible leaders.

Commenting on the new partnership, Tom McGinness (pictured), Group Head of JTC Private Office, said: “SDA Bocconi School of Management shares our ambition to provide structure, global perspective and relevant insights for the next generation of clients, who are having to face increasingly complex issues, in particular around succession and legacy. This partnership enables JTC Private Office to combine its extensive practical experience with SDA Bocconi’s leading academic insight. By working together, we can ensure that our services are informed by cutting-edge research, whilst also helping to empower international entrepreneurial families and champion the importance of legacy.”

Professor Andrea Calabrò, Professor of Practice – Family Business and Entrepreneurship at SDA Bocconi School of Management, added: “JTC Private Office has earned an outstanding reputation for its wealth structuring, family governance and other services supporting clients from around the world. We are delighted to partner with the JTC Private Office team, who truly understand family complexity, cross-border structuring, governance and wealth continuity. Through this collaboration, we can continue to build out and communicate the latest thinking via The Family Legacy Monitor platform, to elevate the concept of legacy and help better prepare the next generation for their responsibilities.”
