JTC, the global professional services business with deep expertise in fund, corporate and private client services, has formed a partnership with nudge.
The partnership will provide financial wellbeing and education to members within international retirement and savings plans administered by JTC Employer Solutions.
nudge is a global financial education platform that ‘demystifies’ money management for all. Drawing on behavioural psychology and data, their platform offers personalised, engaging financial knowledge and skills. Their global solution and inclusive approach is trusted by hundreds of thousands of people across the world, making them an ideal partner for JTC’s Employer Solutions business.
With financial wellbeing becoming increasingly important for employers to consider, the nudge platform helps create this state by helping people feel in control of their money, and therefore in control of their lives.
Anton Seatter, Director – Employer Solutions at JTC, said: “As a provider of international retirement and savings plans, we are entrusted with significant personal wealth. The issue we see is many people experience financial stress and struggle to manage their finances day to day, let alone plan for their future. The pandemic has made this even more prevalent over the past couple of years. Therefore, supporting the members within our plans is more important than ever.
“It was essential to us that the financial education resources we provide to members are independent, unbiased and tailored to individual needs. nudge ticks all these boxes and we are truly excited to see the positive impact it will have.”
Tim Perkins, Co-Founder of nudge, commented: “In 2022, personal finances will be dominated by the fall-out from the pandemic. Over $15 trillion has been parachuted into the world economy by governments. The impact will be felt by everyone, no matter their salary bracket or location, through inflation and surging interest rates. Impartial financial education to help people navigate this change is needed now more than ever.
“We are delighted to partner with JTC to provide our global impartial financial education platform to complement their retirement and savings plans, as from our research we have seen that those with financial education are 27% more likely to feel prepared for retirement and twice as likely to feel confident about their financial future. It is our pleasure and purpose to improve the financial wellbeing of 1.5 million lives and counting around the world.”
