JTC has appointed Kate Beauchamp as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company, joining the Board with effect from 24th March 2022.
Kate has also been appointed as an additional member of the Board’s Audit and Risk, Nomination and Remuneration Committees.
Kate is a qualified lawyer with more than 20 years’ experience in both private and commercial practice and in the provision of corporate and legal advisory services in both the UK and USA.
In 2014 Kate was appointed the Chief Legal Officer of a British-based group of international engineering companies, assuming the Chief Executive Officer role in 2020, with a mandate to deliver a series of divestments following the family owner’s intentional strategy of maximising value and the subsequent crystallisation of their operating business and real estate assets.
In addition to her executive role, Kate acts as an independent consultant on good governance and board effectiveness to private and public companies, and has lectured on property, trusts and equity (UK) law.
Mike Liston OBE, Non-Executive Chairman of JTC PLC, said: “We are delighted that Kate has agreed to join the Board, her experience in a number of JTC’s key markets as an executive and as corporate counsel is a welcome addition to the Board.
“Kate’s particular strengths in the areas of corporate governance and law, mergers & acquisitions, contract negotiation and commercial litigation will complement the skills of the existing Board members and we look forward to working with her.”
Kate Beauchamp, added: “Having built my career around managing risk, protecting assets and advocating for good corporate governance, it is a privilege to be joining JTC, an exemplar amongst global professional services firms. I very much look forward to working with my new Board colleagues to support JTC’s unique culture, commitment to excellence and sustainable growth ambitions.”
