JTC has made two senior leadership appointments, with Dr Shivaji Dasgupta appointed as Chief Technology & AI Officer, and Adam Jeffries transitioning to the role of Chief Transformation Officer.
In his new role, Shivaji (pictured) will lead the Group’s technology and AI strategy, with a particular focus on accelerating the responsible adoption of AI across the business.
Shivaji will oversee a Tech-AI function spanning seven pillars of responsibility, designed to help the Group identify, implement and scale data- and AI-driven transformation more effectively.
Shivaji has more than 15 years of experience at the intersection of technology, data, cloud and AI, including senior roles at UniCredit, Deutsche Bank and McKinsey. His expertise focusses on enterprise data platforms, technology modernisation and scaling AI in regulated environments.

Meanwhile, in his new Group-wide role, Adam will draw on his significant experience, relationships, strong technology leadership background and deep understanding of how JTC works to help shape and drive transformation as the company continues to evolve as a more technology-enabled business. By acting as a trusted adviser to the Board and senior leadership teams across JTC’s Divisions and jurisdictions, he will ensure that transformation initiatives support growth plans with the right balance of operational practicality and technology enablement.
Formerly the Group Chief Information Officer (CIO), Adam joined JTC in 2013 and has more than three decades of financial services technology experience, and combines deep operational expertise with a strategic view of how modern platforms can create a competitive advantage in a rapidly evolving digital and financial services landscape.
Commenting on the two appointments, Nigel Le Quesne, Chief Executive Officer of JTC, said: “We are pleased to welcome Shivaji to JTC and congratulate Adam on moving to his new role. Shivaji’s breadth of experience across technology, data, cloud and AI will help us strengthen our technology capabilities as we adopt a disciplined, strategy-led approach to AI, supported by strong governance. At the same time, Adam’s considerable experience in technology, operational change and strategic delivery along with his deep understanding of JTC’s people, culture and business model will be critical in steering us through a period of transformation and growth.”
Commenting on his new role, Adam added: “I’m delighted to be taking on the role of Chief Transformation Officer at a pivotal stage in JTC’s growth journey. As we work to deliver the next phase of JTC’s development, I look forward to drawing on both my technology experience and deep understanding of the business to help turn our strategic ambitions into meaningful, practical and lasting transformation, improving the way we work, enabling sustainable growth and ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients and colleagues.”
Shivaji added: “I am excited to be at JTC at a time when technology and AI are reshaping how businesses operate and create value. The opportunity is to bring together the Group’s technology, data and AI capabilities and embed them in practical, responsible ways that empower our people, support client needs and enhance the client experience. JTC has a strong platform and culture, with a clear commitment to continuous improvement, and I look forward to working with teams across the globe to turn that opportunity into measurable impact.”
