Katy Ringsdore has been listed on the ‘Women in Fintech Powerlist 2021’ by Innovate Finance, the independent industry body that represents and advances the global fintech community in the UK
The purpose of Innovate Finance‘s ‘Powerlist’ is to shine a spotlight on the women leading innovation in financial services. Now in its sixth year, the Powerlist has increasingly attracted a global audience, resulting in applications and nominations from around the world. A select number of women were chosen for this year.
Katy told Channel Eye, “I am extremely proud to have been listed among some incredibly powerful and inspirational women who are changing the face of fintech on a global scale.”
Katy is the Head of Media Relations and Internal Communications for the UK based fintech firm LOQBOX, whose mission is to end financial exclusion by helping people build their credit score while they save money.
Prior to LOQBOX, Katy was part of the core team that built and launched Atom Bank, the UK’s first digital bank in 2015. Katy started her career as a working for Jersey’s ITV Channel Television and Channel 103FM before leading communications for HSBC in Jersey and then in Canary Wharf, London. Her background in journalism helped her to become a communications leader for global businesses like HSBC, GSK and Huawei. She has been recognised by industry bodies and PR Week as ‘one to watch’.
