Tatiana Collins has been promoted to partner in Walkers’ Jersey Investment Funds & Corporate practice group in the firm’s annual global promotions.
Tatiana (pictured), who is admitted as a Jersey Advocate, joined the firm in 2021 and advises on a range of matters under Jersey corporate and funds law including the establishment, management, re-structuring and liquidation of various types of funds and corporate structures.
She has been in private practice since 2009 and is admitted in Jersey, the Cayman Islands and England & Wales. Tatiana spent five years practising in London before moving offshore including secondments to a global investment management firm.
Her promotion means that Walkers’ Jersey Investment Funds & Corporate practice group is led by five partners, including Jonathan Heaney, Dilmun Leach, Christopher Reed and Leanne Wallser.
Craig Macleod in the firm’s Insolvency & Dispute Resolution practice group has also been promoted to senior associate, while Kasia Mastaj has been promoted to finance manager, and Chloe Withe has been promoted to senior marketing & communications executive.
Jonathan Heaney, the managing partner of Walkers in Jersey, said: “Tatiana has made a big impact in the Investment Funds & Corporate practice group since joining us and we are delighted to congratulate her on her well-deserved success.
“We continue to expand our team with new arrivals throughout the year with 23 new starters in the past 12 months, but an equally important part of our growth strategy is recognising and developing the talent within the group. I have no doubt that Tatiana, Craig, Kasia and Chloe will have a big impact on the team as we continue to grow.”
Fraser Hern, the head of Walkers’ Channel Islands business, added: “Our European offering continues to go from strength to strength, and we are delighted to recognise the contributions that Tatiana, Craig, Kasia and Chloe have made to the business.
“We continue to grow in terms of both headcount and market share, and we have plans for further key hires over the coming weeks and months to continue to expand and develop our client offering.”
