Jersey duo launch new cocktail brand

Two local entrepreneurs are taking on the ‘ready-to-drink’ cocktail market with their own range of handcrafted drinks, made and bottled in Jersey.

Under the name of Hammer + Dash, the pair produce hand-mixed cocktails based on the classics with a modern twist.

Using serious bartender know-how and premium ingredients, including handmade syrups, cordials and infusions, the start-up’s current range includes: a margarita; a long island iced tea; a manhattan; a dirty martini; a raspberry daiquiri; an old fashioned and a negroni. They also cater for the alcohol-free market with a 0% ‘Nogroani.’

A mysterious duo, Hammer + Dash decided to develop their own drinks, based on a shared appreciation of making (and drinking) cocktails. Hammer, a self-confessed chemistry geek and the master-mixer behind the creations, said: “Consider us your friendly neighbourhood bartenders. We make thoughtful, playful and tasty drinks that explore aroma and flavours. Our cocktails can be enjoyed anywhere; anytime, without the pretentiousness often associated with these iconic aperitifs and nightcaps. Our aim is to take our customers on an adventure, leaning on old classics, but adding a modern twist.”

Fellow cocktail connoisseur and the creative behind the brand, Dash added: “Our products represent the complete package; not only do they look and taste great but they take the faff out of trying to prep your own cocktails and not quite nailing it. That’s where Hammer + Dash have you covered; we’re making life easier this festive season, or any season for that matter. Simply unscrew, pour and garnish to your taste.”
