Jersey Cheshire Home has announced the appointment of Barbara Corbett to its Foundation Committee.
Barbara (pictured) is a well-respected family and mental health lawyer with extensive experience in both legal and charitable roles in Jersey. She currently serves on the Jersey Law Commission and has previously held board positions with Jersey Legal Information Board, Music in Action and the St Helier Youth and Community Trust.
Barbara brings a wealth of knowledge in family and mental health matters, which will support the Home’s ongoing commitment to improving the quality of life for residents and strengthening links within the wider community.
Commenting on the appointment Donna Abel, CEO of Jersey Cheshire Home said: “We are delighted to welcome Barbara to the Foundation Committee. Her professional experience and understanding of complex social and legal issues will be a valuable addition as we continue to develop our services and outreach.”
