The Jersey Chamber of Commerce is to host the island’s first ever Retail Summit later this month.

It is an opportunity to learn about the new Retail Strategy and hear from two of the most influential people in British retail.

The event takes place on Friday 22 March at the Pomme D’Or Hotel in St Helier, from 8.30 to 12,30.

Helen Dickinson OBE, Chief Executive of the British Retail Consortium, and Peter Cowgill, Executive Chairman of JD Sports, will be sharing their invaluable knowledge and experience from within the world of retail.

During the period, JD Sports opened a net 56 stores across Europe, a further nine in the Asia-Pacific region, and its first stores in Australia. Cowgill continues to look for international opportunities on a “case by case” basis and is continuing the global march of JD Sports Fashion this year”.
