Helen Dickinson OBE, Chief Executive of the British Retail Consortium, and Peter Cowgill, Executive Chairman of JD Sports, will be sharing their invaluable knowledge and experience from within the world of retail.
Drapers, the business-to-business magazine and website spanning the whole fashion retail sector, including wider retail issues such as digital transformation, technological advances and the management of supply chains rated Helen Dickinson, “ in the Top 100 of ones to watch in retail in 2017.”Referring to JD Sports, Drapers reported:
“Despite a tough UK market, JD Sports has performed strongly with profits up 26% to £244.8m in 2018, year on year and revenue increased 33% to £3.1bn. During the period, JD Sports opened a net 56 stores across Europe, a further nine in the Asia-Pacific region, and its first stores in Australia. Cowgill continues to look for international opportunities on a “case by case” basis and is continuing the global march of JD Sports Fashion this year”.
