Investec Bank (Channel Islands) has announced two key appointments to head its geographically focused Financial Intermediaries teams in the Crown Dependencies.
Ashley Dye (pictured) has been appointed to lead the Guernsey Financial Intermediary Team, and Ryan Lambotte to lead the Jersey Financial Intermediary Team, as part of the bank’s strategy to grow its core client segments: Financial Intermediaries and Private Banking.
Ryan and Ashley report to Andy Smith, Head of Financial Intermediaries for Investec Bank Channel Islands.

Ashley Dye, Head of Financial Intermediaries in Guernsey, commented: “I am looking forward to building on the excellent relationships we have with financial intermediaries across the offshore jurisdictions in which we operate. Our commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of our clients, combined with the expertise and resources of the wider Investec global network, means that we can become strategic partners to our clients, delivering the full range of the Bank’s capabilities. I would like to thank Mark Renouf, who held this role at Investec Bank Channel Islands until his retirement in 2024, for his support and guidance in driving forward our client relationships.”
Ryan Lambotte, Head of Financial Intermediaries in Jersey, added: “I am excited to join the team at Investec and work for such a client-centric organisation. My focus is to build on the strong foundations established over the last 15 years and consistently deliver for our clients, both new and existing.”
Andy Smith, Head of Financial Intermediaries, Investec Bank, Channel Islands, stated: “Ashley and Ryan bring substantial experience to their roles, and their appointments will further strengthen our teams across each island. This will allow us to continue to grow our client franchise across both jurisdictions and build on the sector expertise that Investec is known for. I am confident that they will leverage their extensive experience and knowledge to lead this vital area of our business, which is a key focus of our strategy for the Crown Dependencies.”
