Introducing EVie ‘Park & Ride’ for St Helier access

EVie has partnered with the Government of Jersey in an initiative designed to help you save money, keep fit and reduce your carbon footprint.

There is an abundance of underused, half-price, car parking within a short cycling distance of St Helier.  EVie is bringing these car parking spaces into closer, more convenient reach of town by providing EVieBikes at two dedicated Park & Ride spaces.

You can now take advantage of cheaper parking near town, grab an EVieBike and cycle on to your final destination. The dedicated Park & Ride stations are in addition to the other Evie bike rack locations along the Waterfront.

Where can I Park & Ride? (click here to see the map)

Orange – Half-price parking
Blue – Dedicated Park & Ride EVieBike stations (Layby 3 and Layby 6)
Green – Standard EVieBike stations

Always check the EVieBike app for available bikes at your nearest station. Due to demand, some stations may run out of bikes during busy periods.

Three reasons to Park & Ride with EVie

  • Save Money. Parking in St. Helier costs 88p per hour, or £7.92 per day (8am – 5pm). Parking half-price car parks is £4.40/day (8am – 5pm). Some car parks are even free all year.  A 10 minute EVieBike journey from your car to central St. Helier will cost just £1. That’s a £2 return trip – a great way to save money on parking and fuel.
  • Keep Fit!  Active travel is a great way to exercise and stimulate the brain before starting work. But you won’t get sweaty!
  • Reduce Co2 emissions.  You’ll be shaving around 132g of CO2 from your carbon footprint for every kilometre you swap-out four wheels for two.
