Iceland Foods has officially opened a brand-new store in Guernsey town centre in partnership with local retailer, Alliance.
The new store, situated at Rectory House in Market Square, St Peter Port, opened to the public on Thursday 18th September, bringing with it an additional 10 jobs to the local community.
To celebrate the grand opening of the retailer’s first-ever town centre location in Guernsey, Iceland gave away £1,500 worth of store vouchers to customers.
Justin Addison, International and Partnerships Director at Iceland Foods, said: “We’re thrilled to have officially opened in the heart of St Peter Port this week. It’s fantastic to see so many customers already enjoying the convenience of our new store and the unique range of products we bring to the island. This milestone further strengthens our long-standing partnership with Alliance and highlights our commitment to serving communities across the Channel Islands.”
Keiran Poole, Operations Director at Alliance said: “The opening of our first-ever Guernsey town centre location with Iceland Foods has been met with a really positive response from the local community, and we’re delighted to be welcoming customers through the doors of our store.
