HSBC Trustee Channel Islands has been recognised at this year’s Citywealth International Financial CentreAwards, with the business winning Gold in the ‘Trust Company of the Year – Jersey’ category.
The win, which follows on from HSBC celebrating the 75th anniversary of its trust company last year, was announced at a ceremony last week (24 January) at One Moorgate Place in London.
Now in their twelfth year, the Citywealth International Financial Centre (IFC) Awards aim to highlight the excellence of advisers and managers in the private wealth sector across all the major international finance centres. Winners are selected based on their achievements, their innovative approach and their clear expertise by an international panel of highly respected practitioners from multiple jurisdictions.
Christopher Jones, Managing Director, HSBC Trust and Fiduciary Services, Channel Islands and Isle of Man, commented: “For 75 years, HSBC’s trust business in Jersey has been helping clients with their family wealth and legacy plans and so we are delighted to be recognised for those efforts in these awards.
“The private wealth environment has increased in complexity in recent years, creating a number of challenges but also offering up new exciting opportunities and I am incredibly proud that we have been recognised for our ability to continue to offer clients the sophisticated solutions to support their individual needs.
“It’s our strategic aim to continue enhancing our wealth proposition across the islands, as we help clients create a seamless pathway for managing their financial affairs for the benefit of both current and future generations.”
