Jenna Senior has been appointed to the role of Regulated Mortgage Advisor at HSBC in Guernsey, further strengthening the Bank’s property lending offering in the jurisdiction.
In her new position, Jenna (pictured) will advise customers across the Bailiwick on all their home financing needs, including helping first time buyers, those wishing to move their mortgages and clients interested in homeowner loans.
Jenna joins HSBC with considerable experience in regulated mortgage sales, including life and critical illness products, having established her own company in the UK advising customers in this field.
Her appointment comes as Guernsey introduces new lending credit and finance legislation (in effect from 1 July) that mandates all Islanders must receive financial advice ahead of taking out substantial loans and mortgages. Her appointment reflects the commitment HSBC Channel Islands and Isle of Man has to providing robust advice to islanders seeking mortgages.
Commenting on her appointment, Pete Turner, Head of Wealth and Personal Banking, HSBC in Guernsey, said: “Jenna joins our existing highly qualified and experienced team and with Guernsey introducing new rules in the mortgage area this year, her appointment comes at a crucial time, underlining our commitment to supporting Islanders in all aspects of their wealth and financial planning journey.”
