Guernsey’s White Rock Brewery in management buyout

RAS Group Ltd has completed its investment into the locally based White Rock Brewery Co. Ltd.

This partnership is an important strategic move for RAS as it continues to invest in Channel Islands based businesses that show strong potential for development and growth. This decision to invest follows a period of lengthy negotiations that started in October 2017.

Mr Golland, partner at RAS said:

“Members of the original White Rock board approached RAS regarding the possibility of supporting a management buy-out of the business, as they were looking for a partner with a proven track record in strategic business development to make the next phase of expansion possible. They chose RAS as they had confidence in our ability to deliver, having worked with us in the preceding 12 months on other projects.

The White Rock Brewery is a fledgling success story worthy of support. Over the past couple of years, it has built up a well-earned reputation for producing quality craft beers under the stewardship of the White Rock Group. RAS are delighted to take up this mantle and work alongside the new managing director, Ross Gledhill.”

The new company has ambitious plans to not only grow its product range but also expand into new lucrative markets. Phase one of the investment strategy is to move the brewery and new gin distillery to larger premises in St. Peter Port by Quarter 3 2018.

A new retail outlet will also be incorporated into the site.
