Randalls have acquired Guernsey’s Cock and Bull public house from Michelle and Steve Taylor.
Since its establishment in 1997, the Cock and Bull has become a much loved venue on the island, offering a mix of great beer, live music and sport.
In the first of a kind for Randalls, the pub will be run as a joint venture between Randalls and the Corner Group.
Matt Polli, Managing Director of Randalls, told Channel Eye: “We’re delighted to add the Cock and Bull to our estate. Steve and Michelle have created one of the island’s best loved pubs from scratch and we’re incredibly proud to be entrusted with its future. The acquisition of the pub fits perfectly [into] our long term strategy and cements our working relationship with the Corner Group.”
Michelle and Steve Taylor said: “We’d like to thank all our customers for the patronage and loyalty over the years and also our long list of employees who have contributed to the running of the establishment.
“We have incredibly fond memories of the Cock and Bull and its customers and look forward to the next chapter of our lives as we move on from the hospitality industry.”
