Grow’s longstanding partnership with Guernsey Post continues to thrive, with the charity recently receiving generous support for its latest legacy campaign.
For over ten years, Grow’s maintenance team has been responsible for the upkeep of the grounds surrounding Envoy House. This ongoing collaboration provides Grow’s Crew members with hands-on training, allowing them to develop valuable horticultural skills and gain experience operating specialist equipment in a real-world setting.
Most recently, Guernsey Post deepened its commitment to Grow by not only printing but also distributing the charity’s new legacy campaign leaflets to every home and business across the island. This generous gesture resulted in a significant cost saving for the charity and has already had a meaningful impact – one islander was inspired to pledge a £1,000 donation in memory of his late wife after receiving the leaflet.
Dawn Gallienne, Head of Corporate Engagement at Guernsey Post, commented: “We are proud to support Grow and the vital role they play in our community. The team consistently maintains the grounds at Envoy House to an exceptional standard, and we were delighted to assist with the print and distribution of their legacy campaign. Encouraging people to leave a gift in their will to Grow is a powerful way to support an organisation making a real and lasting difference.”
Mandy Mackelworth, General Manager at Grow, added: “Our relationship with Guernsey Post provides valuable opportunities for our Crew to work in a public setting and develop essential life and work skills. We are incredibly grateful for their ongoing support and for helping us share our legacy campaign island-wide.
“We are hopeful this initiative will have a long-reaching impact.’
