Guernsey corporate, funds and private client service provider, Carey Group, has announced the appointment of two new members to the organisation’s boards, Carey Commercial Limited and Carey Trustees Limited, amid several employee promotions and new hires.
Joining the board is funds specialist Mark Vidamour who was also recently promoted from client director to head of fund services within the organisation.
Sandra Lawrence, also newly appointed to both boards, joined Carey in Guernsey as head of risk and compliance last year, bringing over 14 years’ experience in senior risk and compliance roles to the business.
Mr Vidamour and Ms Lawrence bring the number of board members of Carey Commercial Limited and Carey Trustees Limited to five respectively.
A further senior promotion within the business this year includes associate client director, Jane de Jersey, who specialises in providing corporate services to real estate and listed clients.
The group currently employs 57 people, 15 of whom have joined since October 2017. Among the new joiners are senior hires Rebecca Booth, a client director in the corporate and listed services team, James Mallett, a client director in the fund services team, and senior client accountant, Christopher Stevenson.
