New technology developed in Guernsey aims to help financial institutions navigate increasing global regulatory complexity.
A new artificial intelligence platform designed to support compliance professionals in regulated financial services is now being rolled out across the Channel Islands, with availability in Jersey from Monday 23 March following its initial launch in Guernsey.
RuleXis, developed and built in Guernsey, is an AI-powered regulatory intelligence platform intended to assist compliance teams managing increasingly complex financial regulation.
The platform has been developed for professionals responsible for compliance within financial institutions, providing tools designed to automate certain manual compliance tasks, deliver regulatory intelligence, and support organisations in maintaining inspection readiness.
The technology was created by a Guernsey-based team with experience in regulatory intelligence and compliance technology. Members of the team previously developed AI-driven compliance solutions nominated for multiple international industry awards.
The developers say the platform was created in response to the expanding regulatory environment facing financial institutions globally.
New regulatory frameworks, including those relating to digital assets, ESG reporting and artificial intelligence governance, are increasing the demands placed on compliance functions, while regulatory inspections and supervisory expectations continue to evolve.
“Guernsey has long been recognised internationally for its expertise in financial regulation,” said Simon Kirkpatrick (pictured), Founder & CEO of RuleXis.
“Building RuleXis here allowed us to create a platform designed around the real needs of compliance professionals.”
