Guernsey Arts launches diamond ring raffle to support local creative projects

Guernsey Arts, in partnership with Ray and Scott, are holding a diamond ring Raffle to raise funds for community arts programmes and charity running costs.

The stunning prize is worth a staggering £7,000, meaning one lucky winner will walk away with a prized piece of jewellery while simultaneously supporting the local arts.

The raffle is running for six months with the lucky winner set to receive a platinum diamond Ring with a 0.98 carat weight.  All proceeds go directly toward supporting Guernsey Arts’ running costs.

Louise Le Pelley, Partnership Development Executive at Guernsey Arts said: “We are always looking for new ways to fundraise and are very grateful to Ray and Scott for supporting us with such a dazzling prize. A diamond is a luxury, but access to the arts shouldn’t be. Fundraisers like this help us to keep the lights on and to keep creative opportunities open to Islanders of all ages and backgrounds, no matter their circumstances. Every ticket sold will make a real difference to the artists and the projects that we champion”.

Jeff Fox, Partner at Ray and Scott said: “This is a rare opportunity for a local to walk away with a prized piece of jewellery for the comparatively small fee of £25. Best of all, each ticket bought supports Guernsey Arts, an organisation that Ray and Scott is keenly aware is at the forefront of bringing art and culture to our island. As a company that appreciates the artistry of metalwork, we’re always interested in bringing the arts to our community and this partnership is just a small part of that.”

Tickets are £25 each and can be purchased from Guernsey Museum at Candie, from Ray and Scott on the Bridge or from Quay Gallery. Ticket sales will close on 30 March, and the winning ticket will be drawn shortly after.
