On 26 September, Ed Shorrock, Director – Regulatory Consulting at Duff and Phelps, and specialists in risk management and due diligence from Kroll, Will Scott-Gall and Alex MacQueen, will be joining Jo French, Director of Education at JIBS, to discuss the topic.
Ed will cover the vulnerabilities of trust and corporate services providers, Politically Exposed Persons and how they get around the rules and practical examples of how the proceeds of corruption are laundered using offshore vehicles.
Will and Alex will be talking about the challenges of identifying ultimate beneficial owners, common methods of concealing corrupt payments, their work in forensically reviewing source of wealth and managing reputational issues associated with high profile clients.
