Sure has set up a direct line to the North Pole this Christmas so that the children of the Channel Islands can phone Santa and hear him read them a series of stories.
The Sure Santa Line will be live from 13th December and will feature a different story every day up to and including Christmas Eve. It is free to call from Sure landlines and mobiles. Customers calling from non-Sure numbers may be charged by their operator.

Charlotte Dunsterville, Sure’s Chief Consumer Officer, was grateful to Santa for taking the time out of his busy schedule to record the stories.
“Santa is obviously very busy at this time of year so we feel lucky that he’s recorded some stories especially for the children of the Bailiwick,” said Charlotte. “There are 12 different stories so ring back each day to hear a new one. We hope everyone enjoys hearing from Santa and we’d like to wish all islanders a very Merry Christmas from Sure.”
The twelve stories Santa has recorded this year are:
- 13th – Santa’s lost spectacles
- 14th – Rudolf’s nose
- 15th – The 1st Christmas
- 16th – Nobbly the Gnome
- 17th – The Chocolate Thief
- 18th – Weeny the Elf
- 19th – Making the Snowman
- 20th – Nosy-Posy’s special job
- 21st – Meanie the Gnome
- 22nd – Dillon the Dinosaur
- 23rd – Santa’s magic sleigh
- 24th Christmas Eve – Tonight’s the night!
