Gen II Fund Services has announced the appointment of Matt Beresford as Country Head, Jersey and UK.
Matt (pictured) will be based in Gen II’s Jersey office.
Matt brings over 20 years of leadership experience in financial services, including a distinguished tenure at Lloyds Banking Group, where he most recently served as Country Head for the Isle of Man at Lloyds Bank International. Throughout his career, he has built a strong reputation for developing talent and building high-performing teams, implementing continuous improvement frameworks, and fostering strong relationships with regulators and local stakeholders.
During his time with Lloyds, Matt led the operations function across the Crown Dependencies, held various Director level responsibilities and undertook several other senior roles including Head of Retail for the Channel Islands and Isle of Man, Head of Expatriate Banking, and Area Director in Central London.
In his new role at Gen II, Matt will oversee operations across Jersey and the UK, with a focus on supporting leadership across teams, embedding a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring operational alignment with our governance standards. He will play a critical role in maintaining strong, credible relationships with our regulatory bodies and enhancing the effectiveness of our control environment.
