Sustainability solutions provider FutureTracker has promoted Fred Betley, a qualified environmental expert, to the role of managing director.
Fred (pictured) was a co-founder of ESI Monitor, along with Marc Lainé, with the company growing and then evolving into FutureTracker. Fred holds a bachelor’s degree in Global Sustainable Development from Warwick University and has been instrumental in defining the company’s mission and strategic direction, focusing on enabling businesses of any sector or size to embrace sustainable success.
He’s also taken a hands-on approach to creating FutureTracker’s award-winning tools and guiding the company’s clients through their sustainability journeys, both in the Channel Islands and internationally.
Marc Lainé, founder of ESI Monitor and FutureTracker said: “Fred has been instrumental in our growth so far and in the development of effective, easy-to-use tools for businesses and organisations looking to manage their approach to sustainability.
“His key focus has always been on marrying sustainability with growth – seeing it as a path to business and organisational success rather than an obligation, ensuring that FutureTracker clients have the tools they need to ensure sustainability forms an effective part of their strategies for growth.
“In his new role as managing director I am sure he will continue to introduce new and effective tools and services, using his expertise to guide our clients on their sustainability journeys.”
