Free assessment helps businesses review Microsoft use and costs

Jersey technology firm Clarity is offering a free Microsoft software assessment for businesses.

The local Tier 1 Microsoft Partner’s new service, Microsoft Value Assessment, examines how organisations use their existing subscriptions and identifies where changes could reduce costs or improve day-to-day operations.

Clarity said businesses often use only part of the functionality available through Microsoft 365. Underused licences, duplicated applications and missed opportunities to automate tasks can add to costs and affect efficiency.

Using a secure, read-only connection to a customer’s Microsoft environment, the assessment reviews licensing, security and the scope to simplify existing technology. It also considers an organisation’s readiness for artificial intelligence tools, including Microsoft Copilot.

Each assessment includes a report setting out practical recommendations in order of priority, typically delivered within 72 hours.

Neil Jordan (pictured), CEO of Clarity, said: “Many organisations assume they’re getting the most from Microsoft simply because they have Microsoft 365 in place.

“In reality, we regularly see businesses paying for capabilities they aren’t using or investing in software that Microsoft already provides. Clarity’s Microsoft Value Assessment helps organisations unlock more value from the technology they already own before investing in anything new.”
