Les Bourgs Hospice has announce the appointment of former Deputy Heidi Soulsby MBE to its Board of Directors.
With over a decade of distinguished public service in Guernsey, including leadership roles in health and social care, Heidi brings a wealth of experience, insight, and compassion to the Hospice at a time of growing demand for its services.
During her 13 years as Deputy in the States of Guernsey, Heidi held key positions including Chair of the Public Accounts Committee, President of the Committee for Health & Social Care, and Vice President of the Policy & Resources Committee. Her tenure was marked by a commitment to evidence-based decision-making, collaborative leadership, and a deep understanding of the health and social care landscape in the Bailiwick.
During her time as President, the Committee for Health & Social Care developed the ‘Partnership of Purpose’, a transformative framework for integrated health and care.
This initiative focused on collaboration with third parties, including the third sector, to deliver joined-up, person-centred services that placed users at the heart of care.
