Jersey has welcomed its first cruise call of 2019 when MS-Hamburg sailed into island waters on Thursday 18 April 2019.
The island was one of the final ports of calls for the cruise liner, which was built in 1997 and refurbished in 2012 as it had already visited the Canary Islands, Spain, Portugal and France.
The ship anchored in St Aubin’s Bay and passenger tenders operated onto the Albert Pier pontoons in St Helier Harbour throughout the morning. 318 passengers were onboard, predominantly German nationals.
Jersey is expected to welcome up to 15 cruise visits in summer 2019.
